About Johnson County Baths

I have been helping customers for over 41 years now, but that is a drop in the bucket for the time my family has been in the service business.

Since locating in Johnson County in the early 1900’s, the Randall family has produced 4 generations, to date, of service professionals. My Great-Grandfather, John Randall VI. assisted his son, George Randall starting around 1923, with providing residential water supplies, septic tanks and plumbing repairs with the name: ‘Randall Service’. At times Grandpa was assisted by his wife, Iris, with well digging and other repairs. He built a foot powered lift that would raise buckets of dirt out of a well. It would then turn and the buckets were emptied and then re-lowered. (I hear Grandma got to run the lift)

RANDALL PLUMBING

When Grandpa retired in 1958, my dad, John Randall VII, continued the service tradition, but named his company ‘Randall Plumbing’ to better describe the services available, and then later to ‘Randall Plumbing & Heating’. He added sewer installation and maintenance, and ceramic tile repairs and replacements to his repertoire of home improvements provided.

I started a handyman business ‘Randall Enterprises’ in 1980, and then in 1990, when Dad retired, I took it into the full plumbing realm becoming ‘Randall Plumbing’. I went on to complete the requirements to become a Licensed Master Plumber.

In the interim, I served nearly 30 years in the fire service, also here in Johnson County, and when I retired from emergency operations in 2003, I began taking on larger projects, specializing in remodeling and updating existing bathrooms, creating basement bathrooms, and most recently, an aggressive move into kitchen remodels.

When I started, I had customers that included many of my father’s, and there were a few that were from my grandfather.

I now help people that are children of, grandchildren of, and recently the great-granddaughter of my very first boss. I confess that laying under a sink coming to this realization was, indeed a huge shock to my system. Time does, indeed fly. Quickly, I might add. And the family staple of "good people know good people" has helped all of us Randalls for 100 years. & I THANK YOU!!

I am proud to be able to extend my family’s tradition of service into this 4th generation under the names of ‘Randall Plumbing',   'JOCO Baths’, and now ‘JOCO Kitchens’. I am extremely appreciative for the referrals from all of my customers throughout the years, and incredibly proud that those recommendations are extending into 3 & 4 generations of their families. And hope I that I can always exceed theirs & your expectations.

When anyone asks a friend, neighbor, or their family, "Do you know a good Plumber? Remodeler? or someone who might be able to figure out what is wrong with this?"

I am always grateful when your answer is, "Yes. Call Brent."
